The National Association of Women Judges – Uganda Chapter on Friday conducted a Training of Trainers Workshop at the Judicial Training Institute in Kampala.
Opened by the IAWJ-U President, Lady Justice Henrietta Wolayo, the Training focused on topics such as Pedagogical skills, Judiciary Policy, Sexual Harassment at the Work Place, Sexual and Reproductive Rights in Uganda, and Prevention of Human Trafficking. Other topics Women and Land Rights in Uganda and Mainstreaming Law of Equality in the Ugandan Courtroom.
The Training was a precursor to the IAWJ-U Annual General Meeting taking place right now at JTI. IAWJ-U members are expected to elect new office bearers at today’s AGM.
